I never really dreamed of being a photographer. It just happened & I'm SO glad it did.

You might be wondering how I ended up here - camera in my hand, heart wide open, telling stories for a living.

It all started in 2019. I was working 60+ hour weeks as an EMT while in Paramedic school, running on adrenaline and caffeine, when a serious medical event forced me to slow down. I remember laying in a hospital bed, looking through photos on my phone - faces I loved, memories I'd nearly forgotten. And something clicked. I didn't want to keep racing through life. I wanted to freeze time. I wanted to remember the little things. So I picked up my grandmothers Nikon camera ... and never looked back.

Where it all began

we want you cheyenne!

After my daughter was born, the pull to slow down and hold onto the little things became even stronger. I realized how quickly time moves—and how precious it is to remember the way it all felt.

I still think back to the first wedding I photographed in 2020. It turned into an elopement, right as the world was shutting down. Everything shifted. But instead of standing back and watching it fall apart, we pivoted together. I helped my couple reimagine what their day could look like—and it turned out to be something deeply beautiful. That experience showed me that this work is so much more than showing up with a camera. It's about being a steady hand when plans change. A calming voice when things feel uncertain. And a witness to the love that always finds a way.

When I'm not behind the lens or chasing a toddler, you'll probably find me remodeling our 1970s farmhouse, enjoying a *warm* cup of coffee, riding horses, or living my best life in leggings and a hoodie (while day dreaming of napping some where warm—because let's be real ... ya girl loves to sleep). 🙌🏼

Because your story deserves to be felt, remembered, and passed on.

- Jessica & Trevor

"We could not have gotten through this day without her friendship, guidance, and down to earth mentality. She knew what we envisioned and she made it happen. Her work is beautiful, she is one of the most amazing people you will meet, and she was able to wrangle 12 groomsmen. You will see your photos and feel the warmth and happiness of your special day all over again."

"Cheyenne was the easiest decision we made in all of our wedding planning."

Her professionalism, combined with her warmth and kindness, really put us at ease, and it was clear she genuinely card about making our day perfect. The quality of the photos speak for itself - every moment, big & small, was beautifully captured."

" ... as part of our day and throughout our planning process. She is a calming voice in all of the chaos. She is encouraging, supportive and professional. When we first met with her, we talked with her candidly of what our ideal day would be and she was our biggest advocate to make sure it was exactly that, and did a beautiful job of capturing it."
